Laminate flooring offers moderate moisture resistance. Its base material is fiberboard, which is not inherently moisture-proof. Proper protection can prevent deformation. It is generally installed in dry areas such as bedrooms and living rooms. We do not recommend installing it directly in constantly damp basements or bathrooms without waterproofing.
It boasts high wear resistance, making it suitable for both residential and commercial use. The wear rating of our residential-grade laminate flooring is ≥ 6,000 revolutions, while that of the commercial-grade version reaches ≥ 9,000 revolutions. It withstands daily scratches and heavy object compression. With a normal service life of 10 to 15 years, it offers excellent cost performance.
Laminate flooring is the most affordable option compared to SPC, LVT and WPC flooring. Since its base layer is entirely made of fiberboard, its water resistance and stability are relatively average, yet it fully meets daily usage requirements. It is an ideal choice for customers with a limited budget.
